People will undoubtedly ask the question, "Why should I send my child to a Lutheran school?" As as a father, I must answer this question also because I am currently sending my children to school here, too. Let me jump right to the point and clearly answer why. It is because Martin Luther Academy is a CHRISTIAN school first and foremost that will also offer a private and Christian school classroom setting each day.
At this school: Our children are in corporate worship. Our children
are in religion classes every day. Our children are around other quality Christian kids. Our children
are around ethical and professional Christian faculty and staff who will make an impact on them daily. Our children
are encouraged and prayed for by name. Our children
are in prayer before class, practices, and performances. Our children have high expectations set for them that are consistent with God's own expectations for us stated in His word. Our children
are held accountable for the decisions they make with a clear Law/Gospel approach to discipline. Our children know what forgiveness really is. Faculty who are encouraged to be in devotions together each day themselves will teach our children. Our children
are given an environment where they can boldly tell of what Jesus has done for all of us on the cross and where they can boldly live that message in all they say and do. That is why you should send your child!!
Many young people today are seeking a place where they can bring their gifts as individuals and be valued. They are seeking relationships and a sense of community. They want to be challenged. They want caring leadership. These young people can and will change America and the world. The values needed are taught to those who attend Martin Luther Academy. It is also taught to many of these same students when they attend one of the five Lutheran Pre-Kindergartens and Early Childhood Centers. They also offer this same caring Christian setting and emphasis on values. What a perfect path for our kids to walk! Christian schools offer caring faculty who want kids to learn. Christian schools offer love and support for kids and their families. Christian schools offer JESUS CHRIST each and every day. That is why your child(ren) should attend a Lutheran school!!
